Observer, Baby-boomer, Old Dog learning new tricks!  I am certainly not unique, nor do I have many answers for my fellow travelers in this classroom we share called mortality.  I enjoy a good muse, and I can only hope to give as good as I get.

My interests are few but varied. I enjoy Beekeeping, a good fiction novel, off the cuff cooking as well as a good recipe, Veterans Affairs, Steam Locomotives, Drag Racing and Photography. Oh, and I am kept busy in any spare time by 2 awesome dogs  . . . . . an 11-year-old Kerry Blue Terrier who now has but one eye due to a rapid onset of Canine Glaucoma and now requires several eyedrops every day to save what vision remains in the other, and a rather spirited 5-year-old Aussie Doddle that can easily cause this old man to seek out the Lazy Chair, More on all that here. I hope that occasional encounters with writing will be fun as well as therapeutic for this old veteran! My VA Psyche guy tells me it will be.
